Dragonfly Wings Inc., is an Alaskan Nonprofit dedicated to assisting cancer patients.  Insurance companies require Doctors to offer services at a contracted rate.  In Alaska, a shocking number of physicians are not considered In-network for ANY insurance provider because they choose not to be.  Therefore, even though insurance may cover a procedure at 100%, the patient is still responsible for charges above what insurance agrees to pay.  This can be in excess of thousands of dollars.  We recognized a need for a better option for assistance. From the time of diagnosis, during treatment and on the road to recovery worrying shouldn’t be the concern of the patient.  Healing should be the patients only concern.  Dragonfly Wings Inc has made a commitment to assist local cancer patients with the following services:
* Bill Pay Assistance – we may not be able to pay an entire bill but we can certainly assist by paying something
* Travel Assistance – We can assist with helping a patient get to where they need to go for their treatment or money for incidentals      while traveling
* Art Therapy Classes – Art therapy can play a critical role in the healing process.  We will pay for patients to take classes locally.
* Healing Art Services – We will assist patients by finding them healing art services for free IE: Massage, acupuncture, chiropractic, reiki
It is our sincere goal to heal one patient at a time.

* Art classes that you may donate either your time to teach or the supplies needed for classes.
